Barnaby Thompson
As Head of Studio, Barnaby oversees all areas of the Studios' activities, focusing primarily on the creative aspects of the group as well as actively producing a number of films each year. He has extensive experience in both television and film in the UK and in America, and his films have grossed over $500 million in worldwide box office.
Matthew Justice
Matthew Justice joined up with Nira Park at Big Talk in 2007, where he is Managing Director. He served as Executive Producer on the Rose D’Or nominated comedy/drama series ‘Free Agents’ for Channel 4.
Ed Vaizey MP
Ed Vaizey MP was elected as the Member of Parliament for Wantage and Didcot in May 2005. Born in 1968, Mr Vaizey attended Merton College, Oxford. After university he spent two years working as a political researcher, before training and practising as a barrister. From 1996-2004 he was director of a public relations company. In 2004 he became a political speech writer.
Olivier Courson
Olivier Courson was appointed Chief Executive Officer at STUDIOCANAL in March 2007. He joined the CANAL+ Group as General Counsel in 2003 and in 2005 he was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board at STUDIOCANAL.
Mike Goodridge
Mike Goodridge is editor of Screen International and oversees all the brand’s products including daily news, reviews and box office site Screendaily.com, email weekly Screen Weekly, brand new print monthly Screen International, European production database Screenbase and the print dailies at major festivals like Cannes, Berlin and Toronto.
Zygi Kamasa
Zygi Kamasa is Chief Executive of Lionsgate UK, formerly known as Redbus Film Distribution, which was acquired in 2005 by Lions Gate Entertainment and is one of the leading independent distributors in the UK marketplace.
Justin Marciano
Justin Marciano founded award-winning distributor Revolver Entertainment in 1997. With annual sales in excess of £10 million, Revolver has won no less than eleven major awards from the entertainment industry for its creative initiatives in the last five years for films such as French crossover smash Tell No One, the UK’s first live action digital 3D movie U2 3D and Brit urban youth hit Kidulthood. Revolver continues to expand its influence across UK and US distribution sectors as well as moving into production with its new division Gunslinger. Shank, the first film to be produced by the new filmmaking arm, was a top ten hit in both cinemas and on home entertainment formats.
Jane Wright
Jane Wright is a veteran in the feature film business with over 25 years experience spanning distribution, production and financing.
In 1994 she associate produced HEAVY, an American independent film written and directed by James Mangold. In 1995 she moved to London to work for BBC Films in marketing and film investment. She then transferred back to New York to become Vice President of Co-Productions & Sales for BBC Worldwide Americas, specialising in drama and children's programmes.
John Woodward
John Woodward was appointed the first Chief Executive Officer of the Film Council in November 1999 and set up the UK 's lead strategic body for film.
Simon Calver
Simon Calver is CEO of LOVEFiLM, a leading European film and TV subscription service delivering films and TV shows instantly on the LOVEFiLM Player to PCs, TVs and PS3 consoles, as well as through its traditional postal DVD rental service. It has over 80,000 titles and nearly 1.6 million subscribers across Europe. It was acquired by Amazon in February 2011.
